I’ve missed you guys!
Honestly, I’ve just been so busy adapting to my new life. As mentioned before, I quit my full-time job at the law firm which has been a huge change in itself. I have always worked and now I can’t because I’m enrolled full-time at New York University. Between course readings/homework, my 24 hours a week internship, papers, my self-care routine, my sorority position and minimal social/personal life, I can barely keep up. I just finished my first semester in my clinical master of social work program and it was more than I could have ever imagined.
I’ll admit that I was scared to leave the whole law school dream behind but being in this program just feels right. It feels like I should have been doing this all along. My dream to be a therapist and help normalize the mental health stigma is slowly coming true. So that’s where I have been. Also, my blog layout completely crashed when school started and I couldn’t dedicate the time to fix it. Since the blog is now live, I hope to be able to post at least once a month during the semester. Also, I will be posting about my Paris and Barcelona trip that I took in November soon.
Believe me when I say that I have really MISSED my blog. Thank you to everyone who has been patient with me and has continuously asked about the blog. I love you.
PS. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
